The main changes to v5.0x impact on the timesheet/receipting process. Under CCMS, you are dependent upon Centrelink (via DEEWR) to officially calculate the weekly Child Care Benefit subsidy for each child, and unlike the old COS system, we cannot assume that Harmony has all the latest information to calculate the CCB at the time you do your timesheets. 

Harmony can and does generate an accurate CCB estimate based on the information that you provide to it, but in the final analysis, the only true figure is that which appears on your payment advice from the scheme.

In order to accommodate this change, Harmony initially produces an estimate of fees and subsidies, and then includes an additional step called the Confirmation step, where you can confirm the figures are correct, OR physically change the subsidy to what appears on the payment advice. Using v6.00, you need to Confirm the timesheet BEFORE you can produce a Child Care Receipt for the care involved.

The receipting requirements for CCMS are more stringent than the previous system and now require you to include, amongst other things,  the child's CCMS Enrolment Id and also the total Year To Date absences from ALL child Care services. This information is printed on your regular Payment Advice from your scheme.

Harmony v6.00 has provision to include the CCMS Child Enrolment Id on the booking/contract. There is also a new facility to record YTD absences each pay period once you receive the payment advice.

The other main change under CCMS is the absence rules, the change from 30 to 42 along with the rules for additional absences are now supported under v6.00.
