You may find it useful to print the
Installation Instructions as they will be required after you exit the
Internet.
The file that you download is
LightxSetup.exe, where x = the version number, 5 or 6.
There are two installations available, depending if your scheme has transitioned
to CCMS or not...............
Harmony Light V5.02 (PRE CCMS) Installation setup file - Light5Setup.EXE (11,176 kb)
If you are pre CCMS and install v6.00 by mistake, you will
have to REMOVE it before you can install v5.02
Harmony Light V6.00 (CCMS) Installation setup file - Light6Setup.EXE (11,207kb)
If you are on CCMS and install v5.02 by mistake, you can
simply Upgrade it by installing v6.00.
You will be asked if you want to Open or Save the file
(In some browsers, this may say Run instead of Open)
If you elect to Save,
Do NOT save the file to your Desktop or the current Harmony Light Folder
Make sure you save it to a folder like My Documents or My Downloads, and make a
note where it is, so that you can find it again later.
To ensure that the download completed successfully, check the size
(see above) of the downloaded file using Windows Explorer.
If it is OK, you are ready to install Harmony Light on your PC:
If you are upgrading from v5.02, Harmony will NOT affect your old system. It
will install in a different location on your hard drive.
Find the file Light5Setup.EXE or Light6Setup.EXE (depending on
the version you require)
using Windows Explorer and double click on it with your mouse;
There are a series of steps requiring your attention, read each screen
carefully and click the appropriate response; During the installation, if you
have a previous copy of Harmony Light the setup program will display
some notes about the conversion, and then ask if you want to convert your previous data to the new format.
Read the Conversion Notes carefully
before continuing with the installation. At the completion of the install,
Click the Finish button;
If you are a new user, we recommend that you read through the Help Manual
before attempting to use Harmony Light;
You can access the Harmony User Manual once you have installed
Harmony by clicking
Help, User Manual or Click Help on the opening logon screen. |
